The Hand & Scale is a manufacturer and international distributor of handmade carpets and traditional Indian musical instruments, with roots dating back to 1979.

Our journey began in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, one of India's renowned centers for handmade carpets. What started as a carpet manufacturing and export business has grown over the decades through a lasting commitment to craftsmanship, tradition, quality and meaningful relationships.

Today, The Hand & Scale brings together two worlds that are deeply connected to our heritage: the art of handmade craftsmanship and the soul of Indian music.”
